10 million active Twitter users!

Announced yesterday. The UK is official fourth in Twitter usage behind the US, Brazil and Japan.

But first when it comes to access through mobile at 80%.

Yet another reason why the UK should a creative and digital media hub to the world for international businesses!

China buys into British brands

The largest foreign acquisition by a Chinese food group was announced last week. State-owned Bright Foods, based in Shanghai, took a controlling stake (60%) in the Weetabix Food Company (brands include Alpen, Weetabix and Ready Brek). Who will be next?

948 seize opportunity of employment in creative and digital media industries through Creative Pioneers Challenge

A staggering 948 people have entered the IPA/Metro Creative Pioneers Challenge, the nationwide search to offer 300 young people employment opportunities in the creative and digital media industries around the UK. 100 creative businesses have united behind the initiative including Twitter, Aardman Animation, Spotify and Omnicom Media Group.
